  • Get my masters degree and teaching certification.
  • Have my own classroom and students.
  • Make a difference to a child.
  • Inspire someone.
  • Be inspired.
  • Meet amazing people.
  • Travel.
  • Learn.
  • Have a family.
  • Get hurt.  Get happy.
  • Learn to cook.
  • Love myself.

These are the things I’m certain of.  I’m not saying I’ll get married or become a size 2, because honestly, those things might not happen.  These are the absolutes in my life, which are becoming clearer and clearer.  As I approach the end of this particular chapter (Chapter 4 – Grad School and Inner Turmoil), I see nothing but open road ahead of me.  It’s nerve wracking, exciting and completely terrifying all at once.  I’ve looked at similar roads before – after high school and at various times during and after college – and they seemed far more daunting.  Jagged cliffs, ominous foliage, and dangerous wildlife have softened to epic views, lush landscapes and potentially friendly creatures.  The biggest difference is that now, I can’t wait for the journey.
